Welcome to Technical Advisory Group on the Structural Integrity (TAGSI)

Technical Advisory Group on the Structural Integrity (TAGSI) provides an effective forum for the evaluation of technical matters on structural integrity of concern to the UK Nuclear Industry. The work of TAGSI is carried out in small Sub-Groups convened as necessary to address one or more of the questions raised by sponsors. The Sub-Group, chaired by one of the independent members of the TAGSI Main Committee, includes independent experts in the technical area under consideration plus Sponsor representatives who can assist in clarifying matters and providing information relating to the structural integrity question. The Sub-Groups output is a draft response to the question which then goes to the TAGSI Main Committee for ratification. Once iteration is complete between Sub-Group and Main Committee, the Main Committee issues a formal response to the Sponsors.
